Bouncer from Unchained Labs

Description

Uneven or too little silicone coating in syringes and injection devices can jam them up. Too much silicone could cause droplets to form or your biologic to aggregate. Determining and verifying the proper silicone coating in a drug delivery device is critical to the success of a drug-device combination product. Bouncer analyzes the thickness, distribution, and mass of silicone oil in a syringe or cartridge to allow users to quantify and optimize siliconization. Bouncer provides a 360° view and quantification of the coating in a syringe to help you find and verify the right coating for your device.

Features:
  • Microscopy to visualize silicone coating
  • White light reflectometry to quantify silicone layers from 80 nm to 4000 nm thick
  • Laser interferometry to quantify silicone layers from 20 nm to 80 nm thick
  • 360° scanning along the length of a syringe for a true 3D analysis of the entire silicone layer
  • Measurement of an entire syringe in as little as 5 minutes
  • Analyze glass or plastic syringes with sprayed-on or baked-on coatings
